Overview

Jumuah (Friday prayer) is a congregational prayer that replaces Dhuhr on Fridays. It includes a sermon (Khutbah) followed by 2 Fardh rakats. Before the prayer, 4 Sunnah are performed, and after, 4 Sunnah, then 2 more Sunnah, and optionally 2 Nafl. The Quran commands believers to leave their business and hasten to the remembrance of Allah when the call for Jumuah is made.
